All usb ports are not working! How can I fix this problem?

All usb ports are not working!

Suddenly all my lap top usb ports stopped working .. when I try to insert a mouse or joypad or flash memory or any thing else just nothing happens ! It doesnt even say windows cant recognize a usb driver .. nothing appears like I did nothing at all..

I tried all the solutions I found on internet but came up with nothing.
and in the device manager there is no error yellow triangle .. Like I said nothing at all shows that there is an error or an en-recognize.. nothing shows up when I connect a usb.
I want to mention that one of my three ports is broken from 1 year ago the other two were working & they stopped at the same time for no reason
any one can help?

I would assume they've all burnt out. unless youve got a loose cable somewhere? have you uninstalled the drivers then restarted?

@grantpwarren thanks, and yes I have tried this solution but didnt work.. what do you mean by loose cable?

Firstly I'd check with a usb hub if there is power via the little led on it... If no then you may as well just open the computer and have a look for the connections to usb.
