Customized Message Alert Tone Still Not Working?

I have searched and read in a thread here that setting a custom message alert tone for a specific contact still doesn't work as the default would still play instead,but that thread was way months back. So I'm wondering if this has been fixed in the official release and my unit is just not working well or the bug is still there. Can anybody please confirm this for me? Thanks!

Update: I went into the Microsoft feedback page and upvoted a feedback stating that custom message alert tone for a specific contact only works when general alert tone has not been customized as well. I have not tried it yet as I have customized both, specific contact and general alert tone, thus the bug. If it's still a current bug I'm hoping guys would upvote that feedback as well,just enough to catch their attention as it is currently still under 20. Thanks!

I have personalised Text Message & Main Ringtone working fine... However Gadgets + WhatsApp + Outlook Mail - NO SOUND AT ALL.

The other thing is if you try to remove a personalised sound, the Delete button flashes so quickly, as to be useless,

What build are you on? Which mobile unit? Did you set your general message alert tone to a custom tone and try setting another custom tone for a specific contact?

Well, I tried setting general message alert tone back to default then to a customized one and set a specific contact to another customized alert tone, still no luck. I'm torn between reverting back to having default general alert tone for all and have that customized tone for that specific contact or just have the customized alert tone for all and not have another alert tone for that specific contact. As of now, I'm sticking to the second option until I get tired of hearing the tone and revert to default or until MS sends us a fix.

I now use the Notification Centre set to my e-mail message. So when I get mail, Tweets etc, I hear a message. not a solution. more a work around for now.
