My yahoo email says attention require.?

my yahoo email says "attention require.."

I've had a yahoo email account for quite some time. Just now, it says my emails need attn. When I went into settings to fix it, it not only wouldn't take the password I'd been using , but the small areas at the bottom of the screen had chinese characters! pls ,,,I need some help!

I was getting the same problem with my Yahoo mail. What ended up being my issue was my mail client on the PC was polling for new mail every hour, and my phone was also polling for mail frequently. So Yahoo's security thought there was an issue and was requiring a Captcha to login. Of course the only way I could do that was to login via the website. Once I set my PC to only poll for mail manually everything has been running smoothly.

Not sure if this will help you fix your issue, but it's worth a shot. I'm not sure about the Chinese characters, but a unicode mixup could explain it.
