why my whatsapp weigh 3gb

My memory is almost full because of Whatsapp.
I deleted everything, conversations, images, videos and so on.

Talking of this, I would know how to delete any backup ever done in the phone about whatsapp.

I recommend you try this, go to whatsapp, do the backup, after backup, uninstall it and then install it again while restoring chats from backup. The memory usage should go down

what kind of phone are you using? And were you using a sd card?

If you don't want the backup (this backup contains chat history), you can simply install whatsapp without using the backup to restore

Hi, uninstalling worked for me. The problem is that it takes just a week to fullfill my phones memory again(lumia 625). I will like a better method that having to uninstall the app every week....
I think problems started after the encryption update
