Windows 10m auto updates, Lumia 535DS

I am new to Windows central and struck in a dilemma whether to upgrade to 10m or not. From MS website, it mentions that updates are automatically downloaded like windows 10 PC. This is a cause of concern for me as I use 3G with limited plan and don't want it to be drained downloading auto updates.
So my question is whether it is possible to set "download updates" to manual so that it wouldn't burn my limited data.

All operating system updates are possible ONLY via wifi. A such warning appears on screen
Only apps can be updated via 3G.

As Maurizio said, OS is updated over WiFi. You should get a warning saying updates available. The only real choice you have is when to install it.
