Windows Central Question

I'm using a program for work that automatically pops up when a photo needs to be taken, however the front camera is activated. How can I turn off the front camera or make the rear camera the camera of choice when using software? Or rather set the rear camera to activate on default? I have a surface pro 4

what program is that?

Also, when you launch camera app, which camera comes on first? If you change that to rear in the camera app, does that make a difference in your program?
