Error: unable to find bootable option - blu win hd?

[Windows Central Question]

I've tried the windows phone recovery tool, but the computer isn't even picking up the phone. I can't turn the phone off without taking out the battery. And when I put the battery in it vibrates, goes to blu intro page, and then straight to "error: Unable to find bootable option. Press any key to shut down". I've had the phone for a year, is it just best to cut my losses and get a new one?

Hi, even though the Windows Device Recovery Tool doesn't recognise the phone, have you tried the 'my device was not detected' method?
