com surrogate consuming alot of processing power.

I have recently purchased a surface pro 4, I am loving it so much.

But there is this one problem when ever I open a folder with videos in it "com surrogate" process in task manager starts consuming 30% of processing power.

It keep consuming 30 % processing power even after closing the folder/media.

What could be the problem?

When does it appear? Every file or certain types of file? Certain Applications?

I've noticed that Com Surrogate usually appears after indexing media and then does not resolve. The process seems to leave no ill effects after killing it.

Once I stripped out Photos, Groove, Movies & TV - the instances of Com Surrogate greatly decreased and don't impact the system as much when they do appear. I have alternate programs to replace the deleted ones.
