Why doesn't my debit card work on Microsoft Store?

I have a Indian Bank MasterCard World EMV Chip card with international transaction enabled. However I'm unable to use it on Microsoft Store.
It works fine on Mac Appstore, iTunes and BlackBerry AppWorld where there's no need to enter any OTP but on Microsoft Store whenever I try to purchase something then the phone launches a window in Edge browser and asks me to enter OTP.
The problem is that my card is a Chip based Signature and Pin card which doesn't use OTP authentication.
What should I do?

What should I do?

Try adding your card to Paypal and link the paypal account as a preferred billing option on outlook.com. Alternatively you can link the card directly on outlook.com, the former would be a recommended option - just in case.
