Messenger beta notifications, why isn't it showing the photo of the person sending it?

Messenger beta notifications

since yesterday the notifications are not working like they should. when i receive something it only shows text and no longer the photo of the person that is sending. I installed the app again and even made a reset to the phone but still not working. Somebody has the same problem?

are you on insider program by any chance? fast or slow ring?
