Windows Central Question

The ringer indicator is not even on the phone. Cannot turn the ringer on or off.

We followed the instructions on a website to find the ringer indicator, in settings, and where the phone has a vibrator on and off indicator, there should be a ringer on and off indicator. We don't have one. It's just nonexistent.
We are also missing the little indicator on the voice mail page that looks like a cassette tape, that you are supposed to use to get your voice mails.
What do we do?

You don't mention what phone or OS 10 or 8.1, when asking a question mentioning even the build number is useful as we have users on development branches of 10 on here and it makes a difference, I will assume it is 10 in production build like mine.

Try turning the volume up or down, it may turn the volume of say music up but you should see a down arrow, click that and it will also show the ringer volume.

Also look in Settings/Notifications and actions, you should see a toggle for most things including phone, On gives you banners, sounds and vibrations.

Good luck with the voice mail one, no idea where to look.

Join up and plenty of other people will be able to answer your questions, we are normally a friendly bunch.
