All my apps quit working and the store icon wont take me anywhere. Any sugestions?

Solitaire, Calculator, basically any app isn't accessible and says go to the apps store, but the apps store icon wont take us anywhere and its white where it used to be a red icon.

have you tried restarting the pc? Also checking for OS updates?
