Open Settings -> Notifies -> Messages ->leave all mark ON EXCEPT "keep private on lockscreen"-> then change sound in anything but not DEFAULT

At last, reboot your phone

Additionally, go to settings > privacy > background apps and check that messaging is enabled to run in the background
