Texting(SMS) is impossible on Windows Phone 10

[Windows Central Question]

I was loving the new upgrade but since I've been using WP8.1 till now, it looked good, it was fast, better, but I use SMS text only, at first it wasn't that great a deal, it was a bit slow and sucking all battery, but I could live with that, now it takes up to 5 minutes to send a SINGLE message. This is unbearable, and I've seen other threads, no fixes. Please help me.
I have a Lumia 730 and deleted all old texts and do not have Skype installed.

did you turn off text messaging backup? just a suggestion

and are you installing app updates, including messaging?
