we will need more info about this, like what is your OS version? kindly sign up on the Windows central forums and brief us about your device.


*there is one method that could go on any windows os 8.1 or 10 . that is the key combination which will hard reset your device and you will lose all your personal data on phone ( not on memory card )

this combo had successfully worked on windows phone 8.1


Turn off your phone.
Hold volume-down.
Keep holding volume-down and press power button for about 3 seconds.
Let go of the power button, but keep holding the volume down until image/icon on the screen appears.

there's also the other method where you go the pc browser, find my windows phone service, log in and lock your phone with a new password - using that you can then unlock your phone
