Unable to create folder

[Windows Central Question]

When I right click to create a new folder it just shows the circle thing and nothing happens. Create a folder on the desktop and it works but then try renaming it and it does the same thing.

Perhaps a tad more information (sarcasm intended) ...
What device, OS / version, Windows Insider or Prod, etc
IF mobile - Carrier, part of the world, etc.

what OS version are you on? Have you tried a restart?
