I have a Microsoft Surface Dock and it is NOT charging my Sufrace. what can I do?

I have a microsoft Surface Dock and it is NOT charging my sufrace.. what can I do?

I have a Microsoft Surface Dock and when I connect the cable to my surface all works well BUT when I click on the battery icon I get battery life percentage left and a text saying PLUGGED IN, NOT CHARGING. what is going on? please help, Microsoft.

Probably the same thing most people would do, take it to a Microsoft store or contact Microsoft support to see what could be done.
