The facebook app on my 640 is not refreshing the News Feed - how can I rectify this?

The Facebook app on my Microsoft 640 is constantly (for approx. last 36 hrs) telling me that "We cant refresh the News Feed right now. Try again in a few minutes".
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app but nothing has changed. I get notifications and messenger is working but no News Feed. Can someone advise best course of action?

Hi, have you tried a soft reset?
Do you get the problem on WiFi and mobile/cellular data?
