i have forgot may password and need to change it on a lumia 930

Log into http://account.live.com and go through the "forget password" links to reset your password.

If you forgot your pin code on your phone, the only way to reset it is to hard reset the phone and restore from a backup.

if you meant your email account password, go to a pc browser and reset it from there
If you meant your lockscreen pin, then go to a pc, log in to account.microsoft.com, go to devices and select your phone - select lock phone and then unlock it using the new key you used
