How do I get rid of the windows 10 upgrade icon that is now on my computer

[Windows Central Question]

in the bottom right corner of my screen, on the bar, there is now a windows upgrade icon with a yield symbol in it. I did not go onto a windows 10 site and am unable to get rid of it. I have declined the free offer and it is still there.

If this was a product I wanted I would go looking for it and don't appreciate it being placed on my computer.

I think it should have gone away by now considering the free upgrade offer is over now
