Newly downloaded Audio & Video Will Not Play

Build 10586.494 - video created by my MS Lumia 950 cannot play since the last two builds were upgraded to. Also audio & video files downloaded after the last two builds will not play (previously downloaded audio/video, plus previous video created by this phone can still play) but either display the error message that the phone does not recognize this file format ore that the path to the file is unknown. This occurs when trying to play the files from any app including even Microsoft's that are part of the OS.

If you have stored those files on sd card it may be due to corrupted files..
And most likely your sd card will crash when you remove it from the phone..
If you have stored on phone storage,you can try soft and hard reset but back up your data..
You can consult if this doesn't work

can you copy the videos and audio to a pc to see if they open without any glitches? And do you use a sd card?
Have you been updating the apps as well from store?
