Pc is telling me, microphone is not connected

Have updated to the anniversary update, but my microphone isn't working any more. On recorders, it shows me, that the microphone is deactivated and not connected. What can I do?

try going to device manager and checking the status of the mic -maybe the driver is disabled or has an error

I tried it but there is no mic listed. I already installed new drivers but it didn't help.

you can go back to the older version - it should be in settings > update
