How to put shortcuts with icons on start page that are not apps windows 10 mobile

I can put shortcuts on start page but they come up with the big blue e. When I try to reduce the size to an acceptable level the writing disapears so I cant tell which is which.

Unless the website is designed in a way that edge can read the page icon, it will stay the way it is. Sorry about that. Just realized you had specified windows 10 mobile, I took off the part where I mentioned the app as it is only for pc/tablets.

it actually depends if it was made with that feature, like a Facebook page can be pinned down in the screen. ☺ so it really depends on the developer
