how do you unlock a locked screen on a Lumia 640 XL

screen toggle was turned on and the directions to turn it back off I goofed up. now what to do? on the apps page settings has been removed.

If you're running Windows 10 Mobile, then rotation lock should be in your action centre under quick actions, if you didn't remove it from there.

not sure what your question is - is your phone locked and you can't access or it's about screen rotation?
