Will using the 1.2A charger (from Nokia) or 1.8A charger (from BB Playbook) harm the Lumia battery?

IMHO, better not overpass 1 A too much. Use the 1.2 A only and check phone temp sometimes

the 1.2A is okay and these days phones have internal safeties so that there's low risk of damaging the phone
