Android Sync not working

Windows anniversary update sync feature not working. I am a Windows Insider, installed and set up the Cortana app on my Android phone, but nothing seems to sync.

Windows anniversary update sync feature not working. I am a Windows Insider, installed and set up the Cortana app on my Android phone, but nothing seems to sync.

your android has to have the latest cortana update

I reinstalled the app and now the apps sync but that's it. Which is fine as I just check the messaging app I use (Signal) and it functions well. Pretty great feature.
