Windows Central Question

Hi,

I have a drive that has 4 partitions and I have moved all partitions to a new larger drive and I will wipe the old drive.

Everything is fine but one of those foldesr is the System Folder of 100MB. Can I also move it ?

I have Win 10

Thanks

oz

If you're asking about the folder
c:\windows\system
yes, you can move it, but only after booting to the recovery environment end by copying its contents via the command prompt. On the other hand, I think this is pretty much a waste of time as you're making things far more complicated than it should be, and since you had to ask this question, will likely end up pulling your hair out trying to get everything to work as expected. Just install Windows on a freshly formatted partition on the new hard drive and you'll have a much easier time.
