After years of use my surface pro lost everything and seems to have reset itself loosing all apps

It was working just like normal all morning I shut it down, plugged it in and left. When we came back and started it up it was a totally different surface. It took forever to start and has no apps that were obtained thru the app store.

check that you're signed in with the same email account
And check that you have your data such as photos etc
