where do i find the picture file once i have hit print screen

I hit print screen but now i have no idea where to find it to upload it for something i need.

Was the picture saved to the computer before printing? Try the default pictures folder or the downloads folder, if you downloaded it from a website.

If you were simply browsing and decided to print directly from the webpage; the picture was probably not saved to your PC

on a pc, when you hit the print screen button, it does not save the photo anywhere but just keeps it in memory until you copy it to a program such as word or powerpoint or paint

Try it: print screen followed by open program, and right click and paste. The screenshot will be pasted in that program
