I lost my OneNote files when I upgraded my Windows phone from 8.1 to 10

I have only used OneNote on my Windows Nokia Lumia Icon phone which I have had for several years now. Although I recently purchased a Windows 10 laptop, I never have used OneNote on the laptop, only for my phone. I can create a new page in OneNote on my Windows 10 phone but I don't know how I can retrieve all of my OneNote files that I created in Windows 8.1

Your files are stored in you OneDrive. Go to your Microsoft account on pc, click on the upper left icon and you'll find all OneDrive, Outlook, Office etc. online.
Your files are backupped there, browse them and download what you need

I think logging in using the same account should work
