one photo shot - 4 files generated

Hi,

I have setup my Lumia 950XL to make .jpg (8MP) + .dng (19MP), but once I am making a photo I receive 4 files instead of assumed 2... I understand that this is connected with flash/hdr and I can make some adjustments in the phone, but per one photo I've got ~60MB of data...

How to set up a camera to get only 2 files ? Now with flash/hdr I got :

1. WP_20160826_12_12_14_Rich__highres.noflash.dng
2. WP_20160826_12_12_14_Rich__highres.flash.dng
3. WP_20160826_12_12_14_Rich.jpg
4. WP_20160826_12_12_14_Rich.nar

And what is .nar ?

the nar file has the movement data or the hdr data
You can get 2 images if you don't shoot hdr or with flash I believe

Buy its not a solution... still for fast sharing .jpg is a good format and without hdr/flash jpg photos could be useless directly from the phone (e.g. for FB/Insta share). I do not mind for W10mobile that is making other files in background, but once picture is edited (and saved), system should delete this accompanying files. Currently filling up a 32GB SD card could be very fast, with files you actually do not need

Even in the old windows phone 8.1, the nar files would only delete themselves if a month had passed. I don't remember the dng files every deleting themselves

If it's just sharing you're looking for, then don't use the dng option. A DNG file is usually 4-5 times bigger than the jpeg file. Just keep JPEG + JPEG option
