Why is it my laptop's battery is draining even if i shut it down.

I buy new laptop Acer Aspire V15, Last night i left my laptop at full charge battery then i shutdown. When i woke up the battery showing less than 50% how is this possible?

Calibration error, next time it might happen reboot windows so let's see if it says 100% again

try the restart as suggested
And also check that you have the latest OS and app updates

Did you check to see that it actually shutdown?
