Only you know if android would be a better fit for you. For.me I bought a note 5 last year at launch and ended up giving it to my daughter two months later. Android wasn't for me. I now switch between a 6s and a 950 xl. Lately it been more the 950. Everyone is going to be different..

why would you want to switch? If the reasons are compelling enough, then it's your choice.

Note 7 looks stunning and the software too looks smooth without any lags, not as android used to be before...
