can't download or update apps

[Windows Central Question]

I have Lumia 640 with windows 10 version 1511. I can't update or install any app from store. Its showing pending/working/starting state. My internet connection is working fine. On top of this, I can't even download the latest windows update. Its stuck at "downloading 0%".

please don't suggest me to do a soft reset,as I have already done it a couple of times!

do you have enough storage space? Secondly, can you try a different internet connection just in case?
Check in accounts in settings to see if your main account has any issues
