Windows Central Question

I am a Windows phone user the platform is great but now I want to change to Android because there is no Snapchat app for windows phone also there's alot of apps that windows store don't have windows company will lose alot of customers for the bad windows store every thing about windows phone is great but the store is not

It's a never-ending bad story...... Windows mobile is great but lacks apps and developers don't want to code apps because there are no users. You have to use what works for you. If Android makes you happy, I'm happy for you. No one should stay with a product they aren't satisfied with. If things should improve on the app front for Microsoft, feel free to return. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors and feel free to join the site. That way you can share your concerns and sentiments with others in the same boat as you.

Microsoft reports that hundreds of apps are added every day... which is believable looking at the YOY growth of the Windows Store. Of course we only hear reports about a small handful of apps... so added in with a bit of sensationalism, it's pretty easy to find why the Windows Store's reputation doesn't match the number of apps we get when a story about a bank app leaving gets 1028 comments, but the article about that very app returning gets 31 comments.

Snapchat's a big one though, and the story is never any better. The CEO of the service is very unmoving in his opposition to the platform, and doesn't even remotely seems to grasp that apps build marketshare, which builds more apps and builds more marketshare ... we've had some damn good third party Snapchat clients (6snap was awesome), but then the owner of the service tried to blame their ****ty security and the leaks therewithin on third party apps so we lost a championly app and all others like it... despite that, there looks to be a closed beta for a third-party solution called Specter. It's in closed beta though, so it's inaccessible.

According to this advice: http://forums.windowscentral.com/ask-question/292973-who-should-post-ask-question-forum.html, our Ask a Question forum is designed for members and guests to receive fast help when faced with technical issues that are keeping their device from functioning properly.

What you are asking is something that leads into a prolonged discussion.

Furthermore, unregistered guests may not post replies. There is no way for you to participate in the discussion that you set up. IMHO, that removes much of the value in it for yourself and others.

If you wish to have a serious discussion on this topic, I would urge you to join the site and post your inquiry in a more suitable forum. In this instance, I would recommend General Windows Phone Discussion Lounge.

Please see this link for instructions on how to join Windows Central.

As the thread is outside the scope and mandate of AaQ and you are unable to post replies to facilitate the conversation, this thread will be closed.
