do i have to purchase laplink professional on both computers to transfer

I purchased laplink pro on my old computer so that I could transfer all the files to my new computer. it says to download on both computers. do I have to do two purchases?

You do not. A purchase allows you to migrate between two computers indefinitely. To migrate to another pc, would require another license.
