my Lumia phone just resets on its own ..and if l try launching apps they crush and the phone restarts

No it wasn't infected. Something else is going on.

What Lumia phone is it, how old, OS and Firmware versions from About and Extras & Info screens would be helpful.

windows phones cannot be infected by viruses or anything similar

Check if the battery is loose - if the phone has a removable battery
