access privileges for iPod in Win10

[Windows Central Question]

I have tried every suggestion I can find but my iPod Classic will not sync on Win10. I just get :
Attempting to copy to disk 'Pete's iPod' failed. You do not have enough access privileges for this operation.

I have removed the Read Only on the folder as suggested, made sure the security for the folder allows full access, I have tried everything but no luck. It is driving me crazy.

what are you using to do the sync?
Tried checking for software updates?
