What happens to 950XL users when Microsoft stops production of the 950XL at year end?
Apparently the Lumia brand will end with 2016.

Lumia X5X serie will continue getting all Redstone 1 and 2 updates as normal.
(Redstone 3 is still on the paper but will complete till the end of 2017 so we will get it togheter with future Surface phones)
Firmware updates should last 2 years since stop , like droids and istuffs

OS support should continue for a year at least. Although with Microsoft we can't really know.

I wouldn't expect too much as far as firmware updates go, but those are probably minor.

You'll still have your phone, just nothing to replace it with probably.

there will probably be a few devices still in stores for replacements and repairs
