DISPLAY DOCK or USB HUB?

Hello, I purchased a Lumia 950 today and I'm coming from owning an iPhone 5s. I saw a deal on Microsofts website that I couldn't pass up.

I got the display dock for free and have a theory that I'd like to share, before I put it into practice.

Wireless charger plugged into the front facing port.
Mouse/keyboard/headphone connected to usb 2.0 ports
USB-C port connecting to my PC.
A HDMI switch connecting between my pc and display dock to switch between.

Would it be possible to use my mouse/keyboard with my pc and switch when I want to use the Lumia 950?

Good idea. Unfortunately the usb-c on back of the dock is for charging only. I have not tried usb-c to a wireless charging pad. Im sure it would work, but good luck finding a cheap usb-c wireless charging pad. Wired charging is so much faster. When you get the dock, you will have a better idea.

I use 1 monitor for my pc and 950xl. I just change the source on the monitor between them. I have separate keyboard and mouse for both. You can get a Bluetooth kb and mouse that has ability to pair with multiple devices. So you can have 1 set of kb and mouse and monitor.
