How do I make the bottom toolbar disappear when I am working?

When I am working with photos or mail, for instance, the toolbar covers some commands which then don't work

Right Click on tool bar/ select settings/ select "Automatically Hide the Task Bar in Desktop Mode."
If you WANT the Task Bar for a second just mouse to the very bottom edge of the screen and TB will rise up. Move mouse away - TB will slide down.
Same deal if your Task Bar is at the top of your screen.
