NFC payments on UK Microsoft Lumia phones

Is it possible to make payments using NFC on Lumia phones that support NFC? I just purchased a Lumia 640 and I see that it has NFC but I don't know how to add my debit card details to it. I remember 2-3 years ago hearing that it would be possible but I can't seem to figure out how to do it. I'm in the UK if that makes a difference.

Do you have the wallet app installed? I think you need that for it to work

Lumia 640 is not supported by Microsoft Wallet using payment cards, at least for now. It would still be possible to use its NFC for payments if you find a service provider that uses a SIM card or a microSD card to store the Secure Element.

Another difficult option would possibly be to open an account in Bank Pekao and install the PeoPay mobile wallet.
