Urgent Surface 3 broke

My Surface 3 just switched off and can't be turned on during update to .187. It just happened! WTF?
Somebody please help.

give it some time, then try switching on again. If it doesn't switch on, force a shutdown by long pressing the power button; wait a few seconds and start up normally
Leave it charging

Thanks. I think it was one of those moments it failed to recover from sleep.
I tried many combinations of presses and somehow I could turn it back on.
Now it completed the update. I'm monitoring its performance now.

I'll be updating my surface 3 today or on Sunday, I hope yours was the one in a million case and not the norm

Updates worked without issues - though the locksceen image bug is still present - spotlight or picture slideshow doesn't work
