My Iris setup has never worked, why?

Windows Central Question

Everytime I try to set up the scan it tells me that something went wrong and to try again later so I try again later and still get the same response. It has been that way since I have unpacked it from the box. Is there something I am missing here?

have you updated your device to the latest version?
Which device is it and how long has it behaved that way?
