My Nokia 625 can't show any icon.

It just shows the time, the battery and signal the rest is black. I forgot to charge it yesterday but now its is charged nothing changes.

perform a soft reset, holding volume down + lock key until your phone vibrates and reboots.

that should fix it, had noticed it on my lumia 520 as well.

Are you able to swype to the right to the all apps list?
