My Lumia 640 XL's battery draining too fast.

My Lumia 640 XL(non LTE)'s battery is draining too fast. Phone app is consuming more battery. There is sufficient network signal and is set to 2G. Battery is getting down in stand by mode too. I tried upgrading to Windows 10 and tried hard reset and soft reset, recovered back to Windows Phone 8.1 using Windows Device Recovery tool. None of these fixed my problem. Help me.

1 . which window 10 build are you using?
2 - go to Settings -> Battery -> Show per use apps, and check culprits, then disable them in Background apps list

No. It is running on the latest version of windows phone 8.1

If you've already tried all troubleshooting steps then it's probably time for a battery exchange.
