Windows 10 Lumina 950 mobile , photo app will not stay open. Is there a fix coming?

I recently downloaded a large update for my Lumina 950 Mobile Phone, since then when I try to open my photos they close straight after opening.

are your apps all updated under store? Do check for pending updates and update them , or selectively you can only download photos app update and check whether that fixes the issue.

do you have a sd card? can you try a soft reset

Still no joy. Tried to update photo app from store, getting error message after download starts - 0x80073CF9

keep trying that photo app update, maybe with a different internet connection
Also check your time and region settings whether they are correct
