A bug in Windows Phone 8.1.

A bug in Windows Phone 8.1 causes start screen to appear twice while checking for any apps running in background.

It should be resolved on its own, i have seen that too but on preview builds of windows phone 8.1 . You can do a soft reset hold volume down+lock key until phone reboots.

Windows phone 8.1 support from Microsoft has ended also the development.

Also, I remember when 8.1 was so solid, things like this would be more rare.

I don't intent on doing soft reset as this happens very rarely. Whenever it happens it makes me happy due to some unknown reasons.
