mobile hotspot

[Windows Central Question]

I have configured a mobile hotspot on my win 10 anniversary notebook but, even if the hotspot is seen (amazon fire stick, nexus 6p) the devices are unable to connect. I've tryed to share both ethernet and wifi connection. same issue.

Depending on the build you are running on your phone it could be that. I am on the fast ring right now running the latest build and that is one of the bugs that is broken in this build. Hoping for a new build this week that will fix that issue.

can you create the hotspot again after deleting the old one?

And how are you creating it? Using what process or software?

I thought you could not have a wifi connection and be a hotspot at the same time. Is this a notebook not a phone?

I also have this issue on fast ring. Devices can only see my hotspot for a few seconds and then is disappears.
