No, if you don't ask that.
But, as always since windows 95, that's a good advice tacking a backup of personal docs and pics on the cloud (OneDrive) or in a external device like a usb pen

Having started on the insider preview when it first started (on my work pc) and upgrading in place on every regular consumer build since official release, I've never lost any documents or had issues with any programs not working etc.

The only time you are presented the option of deleting files during an upgrade if you are performing a manual upgrade or clean install via windows ISO rather than through windows update.

updates don't files unless you try a clean install
In case something does go missing, check in drive C, windows old folder
